Dating from April 2001 this third generation '6N' variant of the popular Polo is the Hot version, with a pokey 1.6 litre four-pot kicking out 125bhp driven through a five speed 'box and front wheel drive.

Finished in black, this peppy little 3-door hatch has been lowered and wears a set of gorgeous 15inch Ronal R10 Turbo alloys with polished face and lip shod with wider 195 section tyres which combined with the retro-fit body coloured side skirts and front lip spoiler complete the desired look and undoubtedly give the car some great attitude and stance.

The interior is in a similarly sporting vein with deeper bolstered sports seats in grey cloth with red detail and an after-market flat-bottom steering wheel. There appears to be a rather rorty sounding sports tail fitted to the exhaust which completes the package.

Under the bonnet we find an after-market induction kit and the rocker cover painted green. If the car has been tuned mechanically, we cannot say, it certainly goes well, but it could only be speculative given the minimal documentation with the car. The vendor has unfortunately misplaced the documentation in a recent move and it comes only with its current MOT running until November 2021 showing 132,905 miles with only one minor advisory for an oil leak along with 2 invoices for spark plugs, HT lead set and another for a clutch kit in May 2020. The new owner will need to apply for a replacement log book with DVLA form V62 or online at gov uk plus the £25 fee.

In addition, this quirky car comes with some of the parts required for a supercharger upgrade including the supercharger and inter-cooler (see pics) which looks to be a common and rather exciting upgrade giving it the added performance to surprise more modern hot hatches. An ‘old-skool’ naturally aspirated hot-hatch, in a similar vein to the Lupo GTi also in this sale, analogue is cool and these are among the last of that generation with simple lines and great scope to modify economically.
