Early
pull-handle B; extensive recent restoration; an underside you could eat your
dinner off; on offer at no reserve
First
registered in May 1963, this sweet little pull-handle Roadster has recently
undergone an extensive restoration that saw a full bare metal respray, as well
as substantial expenditure on new bits and bobs, both cosmetic and
mechanical.
Looking through the
history folder we see lots of invoices from last year for all sorts of things
from new trims, new seals, gaskets and service items. Our vendor tells us that
the engine has been rebuilt, and although we have no proof of this, it does
look lovely and shiny.
Purchased by
our vendor as an unfinished project, he has set about finishing this little MG
off to get it ready to go for the upcoming show season. The restoration looks to
have been extensive with the underside as good as the top. The paintwork is not
Concours but is up to a presentable standard.
Running and driving nicely on site, this looks to be a lot of
fun for the long hot summer that undoubtedly lies ahead of us and is on offer at
no reserve so the best bid takes it home.
