Description
Huge specification;
professionally built; lengthened 100-inch galvanised chassis; many upgrades;
driven 100 miles to the sale; lots to get excited about
Dating from
1987, this ex-MOD Land Rover Defender started life as a 90 Hard Top with windows
and was demobbed for civilian use in February 1999.
It was fully rebuilt
in 2016/17 with no expense spared, the file containing invoices for thousands of
pounds of parts and accessories from Paddock Spares. This included
professionally lengthening the chassis to 100-inches and fitting the bombproof
Defender 200 TDI with correct turbo and timing cover and 5 speed LT77
gearbox.
Other features include: new brakes all round; 2-inch suspension
lift coil springs; heavy duty galvanised tubular front shock mounts; gas shock
absorbers front and rear; new polybushes; heavy duty steering damper; heavy duty
steering rod and drag link rod; strengthened rear axle tie rods; alloy sump
guard; galvanised front and rear 300 TDI axles; galvanised diff guards front and
rear; heavy duty fuel tank plus much else besides.
Finished in Eastnor
Green and riding on black 5-spoke alloys, this Defender 100 Hybrid shows 125,503
miles on the odometer, has an MOT until June 2025 and was driven 100 miles to
the sale.
Running and driving very nicely on site, this is a very
well-cared-for and professionally modified Land Rover that is on offer here at
substantially less than it would cost to build for yourself.
