Description
Presenting
nicely; useful upgrades including Spax shocks, electronic ignition and full
stainless steel exhaust; older restoration; lots to
like
First registered in 1970, this smart
example of the much loved MGB GT underwent a substantial rebuild in 2002
courtesy of California Classics in Hull with a total spend of
£12,600.
Unfortunately we do not have any
invoices on file for this lovely GT, however a note on file gives some insight
into the upgrades and upkeep it has received, including: electronic
ignition; overhauled front brake callipers in 2013; overhauled differential;
rear parabolic springs fitted with polybushes; Spax adjustable shock absorbers
all round; full two-inch big bore exhaust with stainless manifold; new chrome
wire wheels in 2012 and much more.
A quick look
online shows MOTs were a regular occurrence up until 2019 where it passed with
no advisories, the car seemingly covering just 600 miles
since.
Running and driving nicely on site, this
MG looks to be in great nick and holds its own in our classic car barn but its
not so shiny that you would be afraid to use it.
