Supplied new by Mercedes Benz of Loughborough in August 2004 this smart, face-lift W220 generation of S-Class comes to us in desirable S350 guise and is finished in discreet Obsidian Black, and rides upon its original seven-spoke 16” alloy wheels.

Under the bonnet, we find the 3.7-litre M112 E37 V6 petrol engine which develops 242bhp and useful 350NM of torque, driving the rear wheels via 5G-tronic automatic transmission.

Inside the comfortable, luxurious cabin, we find full light San Nappa leather and polished Calyptus wood trim, soft-close doors and boot, wide-screen COMAND navigation and in-car entertainment, electric heated seats, digital multi-zone climate control with AC, air-suspension, multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, electric glass sunroof, parking sensors, auto-dimming rear view mirror, Linguatronic (voice activation), electric steering wheel adjustment, rear ventilation, double-glazed side windows, illuminated vanity mirrors and tailored Mercedes over mats.

The car shows just 91,179 miles which have been covered by its one owner from new (the V5 states one former keeper, but this was for just 21 days when brand new, we suspect the car was a dealer demonstrator) and looks to be in super condition as a result.

The history file includes the V5C, owner’s pack and service book with 12 stamps, the last in August 2022 at 91,101 miles which bodes well for the lucky new owner.  In addition, we find four invoices for work undertaken including replacement alternator and A-service 2016, and the current MOT valid until August 2023 recording no advisories and two keys.
