1972 Land Rover Series III Petrol

Unmolested straight forward Series III: in regular use; driven over 70 miles to the sale; nice history: low owners

Just as you like to find them, this 1972 petrol-powered Series III has had just two former keepers and has lived with the current owner since 2006.

Driven to us from near Aberystwyth without a hitch, it has been a faithful servant, supporting his local shoot and running general errands.

It comes with the original book pack with three stamps plus PDI to 6,500 miles in 1973 and was sold new through Henlys. There are detailed notes on care and maintenance between 1975 and 1991. Further bills show a new carb in 2019 and multiple invoices for those regular Land Rover things such as hub seals, bulbs - an alternator and starter in 2007 the list goes on showing care over the years.

Looking in sound order, it could obviously be cosmetically  improved here and there, or simply leave as is and enjoy it for what it is - a good, honest Series Landy with years of working life left in it....
