Facelift M-Sport spec 3.0 petrol example with full leather and automatic/tiptronic transmission showing 101,200 miles

Dating from September 2003, this LCI (face-lift) E46 generation of BMW 3-Series comes to us in desirable 330Ci Sport Cabriolet form and is finished in Titan Silver with black Mohair soft-top and rides upon its original MVII 18” alloy wheels wearing its discreet factory M-Sport body-kit with lowered suspension and more aggressive front bumper.

Under the bonnet, we find the 3.0 litre M54B30 straight-six petrol engine which develops 228bhp and 300NM of torque driving the rear wheels via six-speed automatic/tiptronic transmission.

Inside the cabin, we find black leather sports seats with electric adjustment and driver’s memory, carbon affect trim, automatic digital climate control with AC, original BMW radio/CD player, what looks like retrofit heated seats (the buttons are non-original), traction control, cruise control, multi-function steering wheel, automatic lights, on-board computer and fully electric roof.

The car shows 101,236 miles which have been covered the current owner and five former keepers, with the car showing some typical signs of age and miles with some bubbling present to both front wheel arch lips (a common E46 problem) and some wear evident to the driver’s seat bolster as pictured.  The car also has an after-market rear lip spoiler on which the paint looks like its cracking (as pictured).  It did however start promptly and run as it should and was driven to us from North Shropshire.

The history file includes the V5C, owner’s pack with manual and service book with seven stamps, the last in August 2014 by a BMW specialist, although there is a further hand-written entry dated August 2016 at 82,572 miles without a stamp. We also note an additional stamp for a brake fluid change in 2006, a few sundry bills and eight old MOTs in addition to the current, valid until September 2023 which recorded no advisories.
