Just 21,000 miles from new; loads of history; fastidiously maintained; lots of extras

Invoiced by the Malvern factory on 1st March 1989, this 4/4 was particularly well specified at the time of build.

The options ticked included Maroon leather upholstery (VM893), wire wheels, +8 spot lights, reversing lights, locking petrol cap, door handles (yes they really were options), maroon weather equipment plus spare wheel cover; black carpets piped maroon, extra mirror, luggage carrier, walnut dashboard, scuttle roll bar, organ-type accelerator pedal, two extra tread-rubbers, battery cutout switch and an aluminium rear body.....

We are not sure of the supplying dealer, the car entering into the hands of the previous owner in August 2005, with approximately 14,500 miles on the clock. Over the next 16 years, just 6,500 miles were been added, supported by 14 MOTs on file and a stamped service book from 2006 to date with seven stamps showing.

The previous owner was the proprietor of a local service station and he undertook the work himself to an exacting standard - the car wanted for nothing while in his hands and its fine condition has been maintained by the vendor who purchased the car through Brightwells late last year. He is only parting with it due to a knee condition.
