1995 Mercedes-Benz E220 Cabriolet

Pretty, later example with heated leather seats that's seen little recent use showing just 66,645 miles

Dating from May 1995 this face-lift E220 Cabriolet hails from the later part of the W124 series production and is finished in Azurite Blue metallic with matching dark blue mohair soft-top and sits on its original 15” 8-hole alloy wheels and rides on lower, firmer suspension as a desirable Sportline model too.

Inside, we find mushroom hide interior with typical walnut trim.  The seats are manually adjusted but we do find two-stage heated seats, electric windows, electric mirrors, electric rear headrests/roll over protection, cruise control, dual zone climate without A/C, heated rear glass screen, illuminated vanity mirrors and electrically operated soft-top.

Under the bonnet is a 148bhp 2.2 litre M111.960 series four-cylinder engine driving the rear wheels via four-speed automatic transmission.

Showing just 66,645 miles, the car has been with our vendor, a Mercedes enthusiast and collector for the last few years seeing only limited summer use and presents well.  The history file for the car includes the V5C recording five former keepers, the owner’s manual, old purchase invoice and few bills for parts including new front brake pads in June 2020 and belt tensioner in April 2021 plus current MOT valid until 25^th February 2022 recording no advisories.

The MOT history shows the car to have been in storage between 2019/2020 and tested again in February 2021 with only limited usage prior to that. Buyers please note, the car was recorded category-S in July 2019 and subsequently repaired prior to our vendor’s purchase and use.

A nice, tidy example in the right colour combination with desirable Sportline spec sporting low miles.
