Supplied new by D C Cook Ltd of Manchester in January 1998 pre-facelift Phase 1 GTV is finished in grey and sits on its original 16-inch multi-hole alloy wheels and is powered by Alfa’s delightful 2.0 twin cam twin Spark four cylinder engine which develops 148Bhp driving the front wheels via 5-speed manual transmission.

Inside, we find oxblood leather interior with matching carpets and black dash/console with two-tone door cards. Unusually, we also find an electric glass sunroof, a rare option, silver trim with air con, electric windows, mirrors and face-off stereo.

Showing just 86,700 miles the car presents well as an ‘unmolested’, original car with a few marks as pictured commensurate with its age/mileage. The history file includes the V5C showing 6 former keepers to the current of 11 years, the owner’s pack & service book revealing 6 stamps, the last in 2005 at 86,580 miles.

The MOT history suggests there might have been an issue with the odometer given the car showed 86,621 miles in 2007, then 86,620 miles in both 2008, 2009 and again in 2021. The car has however remained in storage until being pulled out prior to its MOT this year after the owner spent much of the last 10 years working abroad. In addition, we find 7 older MOTs (where the mileage increases normally), a selection of invoices for routine parts and maintenance invoices dating back to 2002.
