2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR
FQ330
Smart SST twin-clutch Evo X with factory 330
upgrade showing just 45,000 miles with EVO registration included; new AYC
pump 2021
Supplied new by Humming Bird Motors PLC
Mitsubishi main agents of Finchley in September 2010 this smart Phantom Black
Evolution X comes to us in GSR FQ330 guise boasting the well proven 2.0-litre
four cylinder turbo-charged engine, developing here, 330Bhp driving all-4 wheels
via the Twin clutch SST transmission with steering wheel mounted paddles and 3
different driving modes as well as further settings available for the road
surface too.
The car rides on lovely 18-inch 9-spoke light alloy wheels
with FQ400 centre caps and big Brembo callipers finished in red poking cheekily
through from behind the spokes providing huge stopping power – essential given
the cars serious performance capability.
In addition, the car features
the big rear wing, rear diffuser and twin exhausts plus roof mounted rear vortex
to help stabilise the air going coming off the roof at high speed
(apparently).
Inside, we find the gloriously comfortable and grippy
bucket seats finished in black leather and Alcantara, multi-media screen, stereo
and navigation, trip computer, climate control and array of switches for driving
modes, traction control, AWC surface settings, intercooler spray, electric
windows, electric folding mirrors and AFS buttons. Under the bonnet, all looks
to be stock bar the fitment of some blue HKS hoses and polished intake
hard-pipe.
The history file includes the V5C showing 7 previous owners to
our vendor, the owner’s manual and service book revealing 11 stamps plus PDI by
Ralliart GB supporting the indicated mileage of just 45,500 miles.
The
last stamped service was in September 2021 at 45,402 miles by Autocheck Car Care
Centre of Dursley with all but 2 stamps by Mitsubishi main dealers or marque
specialists. In addition, the service book includes a further 3 stamps for body
inspection record, and 3 entries for Mitsubishi factory recalls all carried out
by main dealers.
A selection of invoices on file for parts and
maintenance includes an invoice from MitsiArt of Portsmouth for some £1,724 in
April 2021 for a fitment of a new AYC pump supplied by Evolution Hydraulics and
a change of all oils including transfer box and rear diff plus routine service
in 2018, new front and rear pads in 2017. A letter from Mitsubishi Motors also
confirms the car is officially an FQ330, and was treated to a post registration
upgrade from 300 to 330 status dated June 2014 and purchase invoice from 2017 at
33,560 miles for £16,000.
The file also includes 8 old MOTs and
current, valid until October 2022 with no advisories recorded and as such, is
ready to be enjoyed, and no doubt give a thrill a minute ride
too!
