Dating from 1993 this later model W124 series saloon is finished in two-tone black with lower sections in grey and sits on 8-hole 16inch alloy wheels. Inside, we find grey cloth interior, Zebrano wood trim, 4x electric windows, electric mirrors, electric sunroof, JVC CD player and 5-speed manual transmission driving the rear wheels.

Showing 176,576 miles which although some might consider high mileage, for these unstressed 2.5 litre OM602.912 inline 5-cylinder naturally aspirated diesel engines it’s a walk in the park with many of these clocking up north of 700,000km in Europe – where many used to line the taxi ranks at Europe’s major airport hubs.

Within the history file, we find the V5C showing 3 former keepers to the current post import in May 2002, current MOT valid until April 2022 with one advisory recorded for "floor not fully secure, offside" – make of that what you will and a note from the vendor stating the car was treated to a new clutch with supporting bill and oil service in the last month and new service book with 1 stamp for the recent service.
