Description
2006 Daimler SuperEight (X350)
Supercharged
luxury chariot delivering a whopping 400bhp with rear entertainment, adj. heated
rear seats and blinds
Supplied new in January 2006 by Minster Jaguar
of Leeds, this was a discerning choice back then, with just 731
believed to built and one of only 97 in the UK. Finished in a deep
Aubergine with contrasting cream leather interior piped dark grey, this
long-wheel base version offers all the luxury and performance you could possibly
want.
This car is all about comfort, with the greater legroom afforded by
the longer wheel base, rear passengers are able to kick back and recline in the
individually adjustable, heated rear seats, flip down a burr walnut tray
table to work or enjoy a drink and catch a dvd on the twin rear entertainment
screens. Pop down the rear arm rest to find cup holders and a control
centre with aux lead ports for greater connectivity. Set the rear climate
control just so. The equally well-served driver gets to luxuriate in the
electric heated, multi-adjustable embossed front seat(s) and power up the
ballistic motor up front - Jaguar's superb, 4.2 supercharged V8, developing
400bhp and a collosal 541NM of torque driven through 6-speed automatic
transmission. The Daimer is double-glazed giving a well insulated feel
from the outside world with just the woosh of the supercharged engine in the
background.
Showing just 92,965 miles, our vendor has enjoyed the
car for almost 3 years, purchasing it from us in 2018 and covering c.3,500 miles
over this period. The Super8 has had just two previous keepers, the prior
a long term owner and also regular Brightwells client and collector. Within the
history file we find the V5C, owner's pack and service book showing 11 stamps,
all by Jaguar main dealers, the last in December 2020 by Jaguar of Truro,
Cornwall at 92,679 miles, just a handful of miles ago.
Furthermore,
invoices on file show a recent spend of £815.06 at JLR Redruth for a replacement
AC condensor and regas in July 2019, a £380 spend again at JLR Redruth in March
2021 on an MOT, 4-wheel alignment and 2 anti-roll bar links for the MOT which is
valid until March 2022 with three minor advisories (number plate
deterioration, brake pipe corroded or covered in grease and oil leak - deemed
nothing to worry about on the same MOT invoice!?), alignment confirmation,
another £738 spend at Carrs Land Rover on an annual service with new battery in
December 2020 (as stamped in the service book) along with a selection of other
historic service invoices and 11 old MOTs.
Evidently a rare car, in super
order with an excellent main dealer service history boasting just three owners,
400bhp and all the luxury and comfort you could ever want with greater
exclusivity than the Jaguar badged XJR model.
