Classic Garage Co-Ordinator

Duties include:

The Job
• Customer liaison - booking in vehicles, loose parts and paperwork
• Cleaning vehicles ready for photography and presentation
• Laying out the Classic Garage to form a safe, comprehensive and cohesive display
• Producing videos and uploading to the Brightwells website
• Photographing cars to a given format and uploading to the Brightwells website
• Production of online number plate iconography for Cherished numbers
• Managing the keys and security of the Classic Garage
• Keeping the Classic Garage and surrounding area tidy and clean at all times – this may include painting/cleaning/weeding duties etc
• Controlling the keys during viewing, starting vehicles on request and discussing the bidding process with clients on view days
• Answering the office phone and general enquiries
• Handing cars over – explaining how they work
• General duties to keep the department running smoothly

The Person
This role is an active job and requires a good communicator with both an easy manner and mechanical aptitude. Someone with a practical knowledge of old engines, classic cars and modern classics, you will need to be physically fit to push and manhandle non-runners. Computer savvy, if you can bring a flexible approach to work, we would love to hear from you.

The Requirements
•You are tidy and organised
•You are well presented and like dealing directly with customers
•You have experience working camera equipment and handheld devices
• Hold a good level of competency computer systems (training will be given)
• We are looking for a motivated, organised individual who loves a challenge
• Attention to detail
• Strong English skills
•Forklift qualifications would be a bonus but training can be provided
